To create concept art for a sci-fi horror computer game Odephius. The game focuses on puzzle solving in an abandoned fuel station. The concept art was to depict one of the hallways in the game. The design did not need to be completely polished but needed to convey the feeling/mood of the game. I had a one day turnaround time on this piece.
Concept art can be an extremely time consuming process. I decided to use a mixture of illustration and photobashing to create the piece quickly whilst maintaining a high quality image. I mixed the familiar with the alien to make the piece feel eerie yet believable.
The piece is creepy and displays the theme and emotions that Odephius is looking to portray.
