The client required a new logo for their board game review website 'Cardboard Vault'. They wanted their design to be fun and quirky.
For this design I fused the imagery of both a board game spinner and a combination lock. The 5-color pallet allows for a lot of versatility in supporting design elements and represents the variety of topics within the gaming community that the client covers.
The client loved the design and had a successful and smooth re-brand.
