Caradoc Games needed a logo designed for their RPG writing and game design brand. They wanted a mash-up of sci-fi and fantasy elements as they enjoyed writing and designing for both genres. They also wanted to display an air of reliable creativity.
There were a few concepts and designs presented but the one the client ended up going with was a dragon inside a planet. The icon can be used in isolation but also in a horizontal and vertical format with unobtrusive typography that allows the iconography to take center stage. The light and dark blues indicate safety and reliability, both highly important qualities in the RPG writing industry. The "games" text can be changed later on if the client decides to pursue other enterprises such as publishing.
The client was very happy with the design and did a full write up/review of the process and my services below.
